The 2025 Annual Meeting will again be held at CitySpace in the Blue Room starting at 7:00 PM. The main Speaker will be Laurie Sanders, a Naturalist from Northampton. Sanders is a naturalist, writer, and the former host of Field Notes, a weekly natural history series that aired on NEPR for a decade.&nbsp;Her presentation will be, “The Manhan River: Looking Back, Looking Forward.”The Manhan River and its tributaries profoundly influenced Easthampton’s history–and continue to do so. At this year’s annual meeting, Laurie Sanders, naturalist and co-director of Historic Northampton, will provide an overview of the Manhan River watershed–from its geologic origins and special habitats to its role in human history and significance to conservation, recreation, wildlife, and climate change resilience.
