DJ Scenick Roots returns to The Kite alongside his brother DJ Sakadachi for the second installment of “Hemoglobin &amp; Oxygen Y’all” an event where the duo play a combination of songs they grew up listening to together and surprising each other with what they have in their libraries ranging from hip-hop, afrobeats, house, dancehall, funk, and R&amp;B. Originally from Rochester, NY, DJ Scenick Roots has been spinning in NYC since 2020 at various rooftop parties, bars, and private events. He’s a dancer/choreographer first and approaches scoring his performances to sound like a DJ set. His seamless transitions between genres will not only have you dancing all night, but open your mind to ways of grooving. He has even played at venues such as Sleepwalk accompanied by his dance company, The Pocket Fuel Groovers tearing up the stage. Sakadachi is a dynamic DJ, music producer, and dancer known for blending diverse musical styles into unforgettable experiences. With a deep passion for rhythm and movement, he seamlessly fuses genres, creating unique soundscapes that ignite dance floors.
