This creative writing workshop will take a closer look at individual family systems with an option to imagine alternative stories with characters inspired from our very own. Speculative fiction is a genre of writing that allows for limitless possibilities. The setting can take place outside the realms of the real world, often paired with science fiction, fantasy, supernatural, and futuristic elements. Whatever the setting, the stories in this genre are driven by curiosity and the possibilities of what could be. She is a former Open City Fellow at the Asian American Writers Workshop and has completed her Masters in Negotiation &amp; Conflict Resolution at Columbia University. The thesis of her work lies in building community.
