The KYN is a Denver-based collective whose sound fuses the classic songwriting of pioneering musicians like Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, and The Beatles with the heavy handed chords of Herbie Hancock and 90’s R&B. Led by producer and musician Callum Bair, every raw love song and ear-candy hook The KYN produces has an underbelly of harmony that comes from a deep love of fusion, jazz, soul, and R&B. Denver’s own Trinity Scales will also be gracing the Dazzle stage as The KYN’s featured vocalist. From Georgia to the Mile High, Trinity has been garnering attention from local and national radio listeners and labeled a rising genre-blending talent. Trinity’s ability to weave seamlessly between technical vocal runs and silky jazz standards earns her a love from audiences of both straight ahead jazz and contemporary R&B. Fans of H.E.R., Moonchild, Ella Fitzgerald, and Ella Mai will feel at home with the timeless vocal stylings of Trinity and the deep pocket and intricate arrangements of The KYN.
