Robert Deeble is an American singer-songwriter based in Seattle. His recordings have been noted for their orchestrated arrangements, a subtle, minimalist style of production, and lyrical content. Robert's first album released in 1994 with folk heroine Victoria Williams. Subsequent recordings included music industry veterans such as Rachel Blumberg (The Decemberists), Anna-Lynn Williams (Lotte Kestner/Trespassers William) and Stephen Hodges (Tom Waits/Mavis Staples). Robert's latest project due out in 2025 is the result of a 3-year partnership with producer Ric Hordenski (Over the Rhine) who contributed string arrangements and guitar work. The new album also features bassist Viktor Kraus (Allison Kraus/Robert Plant), drummer Lacey Brown (Damien Jurado) and highlights Deeble's lyrical songwriting within highly orchestrated string arrangements. Robert first received critical acclaim for his 1998 release Earthside Down and again with Heart Like Feathers (2012) which received regular rotation on XM Satellite’s The Loft. His last full-length BELOVED was a personal account of the adoption of his daughter.
