    About

Introducing One Time Weekend – the band redefining progressive rock. With a growing catalog of studio albums and live releases, OTW has quickly attracted a loyal following of fans who can't quite put their finger on what makes the band so unique – but love it all the same. As one fan puts it: “It’s hard to define this band. It’s a little bit of everything. Whatever it is, we like it.”

Shred, funk, metal, jam. Take these four ingredients and sauté them in a sauce of songwriting and groove, and you might get something that tastes like OTW. Known for their electrifying live shows, One Time Weekend delivers an unforgettable high-energy experience at every performance. Every One Time Weekend show is an adventure—no two performances are the same, and no two songs sound alike. It’s rock, it’s experimental, it’s everything in between, and it's always a ride worth taking.

Hailing from Norwalk, Connecticut, Residual Groove has rapidly made a name for themselves in the jam rock scene with their vibrant energy and musical prowess. Formed by brothers Kiran Edwards (keys/vox) and Previn Edwards (guitar/vox), the band is rounded out by the rhythmic talents of Henry Thomas (drums) and Garrett Halstead (percussion).

In 2024, Residual Groove released their highly anticipated debut album, In Dream Time, which was met with widespread acclaim from fans and peers alike. Their innovative sound and compelling live performances have earned them respect from established jam bands such as Goose, Eggy, and Neighbor, who have all praised the band's unique blend of musicianship and creativity.

Residual Groove has had the honor of opening for some of the biggest names in the jam and funk scenes, including Andy Frasco, Eggy, Dogs in a Pile, Karina Rykman, Neighbor, Vasudo, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and Melt. Each performance showcases their dynamic ability to use structured songs as springboards for adventurous and well-executed improvisational passages. This seamless transition from one musical journey to the next keeps audiences enthralled and ensures each show is a unique experience.

Known for their electrifying stage presence and tight-knit chemistry, Residual Groove continues to captivate fans with their ability to explore uncharted musical territories while maintaining a cohesive sound. As they carve out their place in the Northeast rock/jam scene, Residual Groove is a band that promises to keep evolving and pushing the boundaries of their genre.
