Come and experience a night of electrifying jazz fusion as the Jordan Lovinger Quintet pays tribute to the legendary Chick Corea at Dazzle in Denver. A pioneer of modern jazz, Corea redefined the genre with his work alongside Miles Davis, his groundbreaking group Return to Forever, and high-energy compositions like Got a Match?. This iconic piece from his Elektric Band is a masterclass in speed, precision, and infectious rhythm, cementing his influence on generations of musicians.

Leading the tribute is bassist Jordan Lovinger, founder of the music education company Musician’s Manual and host of the Goosetown Tavern Jam. He’s joined by pianist John Michael Sullivan, Regis University’s Minister for Liturgical and Sacred Music, and drummer Everette Sutton, a Biola graduate with a background in jazz and fusion. Guitarist Wagner Sanchez brings his versatile style to the mix, while saxophonist Nathan McMahon rounds out the quintet with experience spanning jazz, blues, and big band. A former member of the U.S. Marine Corps’ 2D Marine Division Band, McMahon has performed with artists like Gordon Goodwin and Wayne Bergeron at venues including the New Orleans Superdome and the Mahalia Jackson Theater.
