Producer and Multi-instrumentalist Itamar Gov-Ari has been a staple of the New York City and Connecticut music scenes for over 10 years. He strives to fuse the sounds of jazz harmony and hip hop/neo soul rhythms with his Yemenite Jewish roots, counting on his years of experience as a sideman and producer to do so. As a billboard charting producer he has worked with artists such as Kodak Black, Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign, Coco Jones, Jay Critch and many others. As a solo artist Itamar has performed across the tri-state area and internationally.
From playing New York City jazz clubs while earning his degree at The New School for Jazz, to touring the U.S. with reggae band Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads, to cutting his teeth as a solo acoustic entertainer in Key West, FL, Billy Ruegger’s range and wealth of experience have served to make him both a successful band leader and a valued sideman on stage and in the recording studio. His continual musical exploration has ultimately yielded an artistic voice that recalls those that came before him- influences such as The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and John Mayer figure heavily into his sound- yet is something altogether new. Billy maintains an active presence as a performer both in his current residence in Key West, FL and in the greater New York area.
Saxophonist, woodwind instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter Malin Carta will be joined by artists Elijah Atkins, TJ Croke, and Conor Brennan for a set of original music. This collection of songs has been inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Judee Sill, Weyes Blood, and Carole King. Malin aims to find ways of blending musical and artistic influences in addition to her own life experiences to create something that connects us all.
