With four albums and a decade of touring under her belt, she continues to bring the soul of a swing dance to any show with the help of the Fair Weather Band.With her largest ensemble, Chelsea Reed and the Fair Weather Nine, Reed aims to capture the lush sounds and rhythms of the Big Band Swing Era as a 10 piece outfit complete with five horns, a full rhythm section, and a book of original arrangements. Reed's swinging, swaggering vocals are at the helm with the help of her music director, tenor saxophonist/composer/arranger Jack Saint Clair. This mini swing orchestra often emerges around December to play their original takes on holiday standards. She is a regular performer around town known for her warm, soaring vocals and ear-worm songs.
